We are a traditional and conservative Methodist Church that accepts the Bible in its entirety and its authority for our church. Our church is also a member of the Wesleyan Covenant Association. We are a congregation who sincerely welcomes everyone and humbly shares with our community the blessings that God has given us.
Our church believes in the word of God contained in the Old and New Testaments as the sufficient rule both of faith and of practice. Our church believes in the word of God contained in the Old and New Testaments as the sufficient rule both of faith and of practice. We believe the Church should provide an example by which we live for those who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe all Christians are ministers of the gospel and that the Church has a responsibility to provide help to those in need and for those who are seeking a meaningful life.
Our youth program meets on Wednesday afternoons at 6:00 pm. Throughout the year, our youth participate in summer camp, fundraisers, banquets, Vacation Bible school, and various service projects for senior citizens. Our youth are eager for Christ and welcome new faces!
CURRENTLY OUR BUS MINISTRY IS INACTIVE DUE TO COVID
Each Sunday, our church bus runs a route through our surrounding area to pick up passengers who wish to attend our worship service. This ministry touches the lives of numerous children and adults, and is a blessing for those involved. Get involved and join the team!
Our choir faithfully practices on Wednesday evenings from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Come and join us anytime throughout the year. We strive to blend traditional worship with a contemporary splash here and there.
We offer an open communion service every first Sunday of the month. Any monies left on the communion rail are used for those in need in our surrounding area.
Every first Sunday we join together for a meal in our Fellowship Hall. Often times it is pot luck, but sometimes lunch is provided! Please join us after worship for a time of comfort and fun.
Every Sunday during a specific time in worship, our children are welcomed to the altar to hear a message designed especially for them. They often receive a memento relating to the scripture and message.
The Wesleyan Covenant Association (WCA) connects Spirit-filled, orthodox churches, clergy, and laity who hold to Wesleyan theology. It is an association or network of individuals and congregations who share a common understanding of our Wesleyan doctrine and desire to become a vibrant, faithful, growing 21st -century church. We believe change is coming to The United Methodist Church, and as we live into what comes next, the Wesleyan Covenant Association will connect, encourage, and resource clergy, laity, congregations, and regional chapters by:
The Wesleyan Covenant Association affirms the work of other renewal groups, such as The Confessing Movement, Good News, and UM Action. However, the WCA’s purpose is not to fight the political battles raging across the church, but to prepare for and live into a positive and fruitful future.
